Kidz Zone is what we call our Sunday children’s Christian education program at Holy Trinity. Each year we have between 70-90 children register for Kidz Zone and it is one of the things that draws so many young families to our church community.  Of those children who register, we often have between 50 and 75 who attend Holy Trinity on any given Sunday.

Our classrooms are divided according to age and grade: age two to three, age four to kindergarten, Grades 1 to 2, Grades 3 to 4 and Grades 5 to 6. To oversee these classrooms, Kidz Zone has many volunteer teachers and helpers, all of whom have undergone a security check. There are, on average, three teachers per class, teaching on rotation; however, we are always in need of more, in addition to classroom helpers.

At Kidz Zone, we believe that through our teachings, our children’s faith grows through a variety of means, from play and song to art, story & theatre as well as through community-focused outreach. To that end, we organize free family movie nights for all  in and outside of Holy Trinity, seasonal celebrations, charitable giving to child-related non-profit organizations.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we have had to suspend our public Sunday services and that in turn means that we have suspended our regular Kidz Zone gathering; however, we do try to have material available  each week so that children can engage together with their parents in some age appropriate Christian education material.
